The Babraham Institute is a world-class research institution, situated at the heart of the Babraham Research Campus, near Cambridge. The Cambridge Biomedical Campus is located at the heart of the UK’s and Europe’s leading life sciences cluster. They are a vibrant, international healthcare community and a global leader in medical science, research, education and patient care. At the campus also the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute is located.
One Nucleus, headquartered in Cambridge, at the heart of Europe’s largest Life Sciences & Healthcare cluster, is an award winning not-for-profit Life Sciences & Healthcare membership organization centered on the Greater London-Cambridge-East of England corridor.
Due to previous successes in the UK psps already has a pre-existing network of contacts within the biotech fields listed above.
Biotech institutes and research facilities within the United Kingdom are continuously looking for new international collaborations to develop innovative therapies and medication. The country has had a national incentive program for innovation in regenerative medicine and oncology for several years. Scientists are also looking at the opportunities that data science offers for genomics.
Together with local partners in the United KIngdom Dutch entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions can benefit from the large planned investments in LSH innovation and the NHS (National Health Service). During the trade mission we will visit several leading institutes, companies and campuses in the London & Cambridge area. There you will receive the opportunity to meet with local parties and discuss opportunities for collaboration. In addition there will be a seminar on the development of the UK biotech sector.
The costs of the mission are € 840 excl. VAT with use of subsidy. Including travel costs in Cambridge and excluding other travel and accommodation costs.
