The Hannover Messe is the hotspot for groundbreaking technological themes that will shape the future of industry and our society. For innovators, start-ups & scale-ups and supporting organizations of startups, like incubators and accelerators, the Hannover Messe’s start-up area is the home base and the platform to present new, disruptive technologies. 

#HM24 offers you direct access to more than 6,000 potential partners from the theme-related industries. Dutch start-ups and scale-ups can take advantage of this opportunity by participating in the The Netherlands Start-up & Scale-up Pavilion. Together with you and other important Dutch organizations we will be making a joint start-up appearance under the NL-umbrella.

Advantages of the start-up pavilion

Terrific deal for a booth at the heavily subsidized Start-up Area of the HM (the Eureka Park of the HM) at a fraction of the regular cost to exhibit at the HM and attracting a big crowd of your target audience from around the world. Individual booth but presented within a common NL Booth for more attention. Common NL area of around 20-30 sqm.

Individual coaching and matchmaking by Willem Drost: how to develop a cutting-edge proposition for the #HM2024 

Group sessions on ‘How to get the most of our your #HM2024 participation’. Learn how you can get the most out of your trade show participation and what you need to do to become 100% ready for the trade show.

A lot of visibility through our collective pavilion: online participant overview (accessible via QR code). Support with public speeches at the Hannover Messe startup section and public presentations.

Various side-events: a networking event at our pavilion, matchmaking sessions with German companies through a breakfast-session and more! 

Catering (coffee, lunch, etc) will be provided by the organization

Why should you participate?

The HM is one of the largest trade shows in the world (far bigger than CES!) attracting people from around the world and obviously also from many of our surrounding countries that may be on your plan for internationalization.

NL has a very significant presence on the HM; as traditionally the #3 in total visitors and #4 in exhibitors, capitalizing on the huge bi-lateral NL/GER trade of almost 200 billion Euro per year, representing the 4th largest bi-lateral trade zone in the world (comparison: 50 billion bi-lateral trade NL/US) 

The German market offers great potential for NL tech companies as our tech industries are very complementary

Easy to follow up on the many business leads you will get from the HM, with the necessary preparation of course, because you can just drive there or take a train.

Be in direct close contact with other Dutch start-ups and scale-ups to sharpen your own proposition, find potential collabs and enter the German market together.

Not a stand-alone event but a whole series of preparatory workshops and events that will prepare you optimally for the German market. Incl. tools to help you follow up on your contacts successfully.

The total costs are €2.950,- when using the RVO Collective Activity Subsidy.*

(*)  Regular participation fee without the subsidy amounts to €5.450.

Not a start-up or scale-up? But want to participate?

NL Pavillion in hall 8

RVO & FME are organising the NL Pavilion in hall 8 for Dutch companies that are not eligible for a stand at the NL Innovation Square. We are working on a shared programming with the pavilion in hall 8 to ensure all Dutch companies are as well represented as possible at #HM24!
