Develop your business abroad

Our Services

For companies

Market entry

Market entry is a matter of choosing the right sales network in the right (foreign) market. What do you need to consider? The most appropriate product or service, of course! Which specific foreign markets would you like to enter with this product? What is the available market knowledge? What type of partner; such as an agent, distributor, joint selling partner or wholesaler, or perhaps direct sales to key accounts, supported by marketing from your home country. And eventually, maybe even setting up your own local office.

Areas of expertise

Client & partnersearch

We are adept at finding your clients abroad. We have access to a wide range of international databases, and over the past 20 years we have developed a large up-to-date CRM system of international contacts. The execution requires finesse, but the process itself is actually simple: create a partner profile, make a long and short list, then start reaching out to parties. Your international 'sales trip' will take shape, personal meetings, during which you get to know your potential customers or partners. With psps literally by your side.

Areas of expertise

Export coaching

Creating an international business plan with our client , one-on-one: for psps, this is a very rewarding part of our job. Over the past several years we have helped more than 150 SMEs develop such a plan through individual coaching. In this coaching process, we look at all the factors that can play a role in both selecting and serving an international market. The main focus is on formulating a good market entry strategy. In doing so, we of course take into account fiscal, legal, logistical, marketing and compliance-related aspects. This means that sometimes subject-matter experts must be brought in, to advise on potentially critical points. We have worked in a wide variety of sectors with a range of experience levels, from export beginners to passionate veterans. With over 20 years of experience, you can be sure you’re getting the right combination of speed and precision as we quickly create a robust internationalization plan. In many cases, psps is closely involved in the implementation as well. Note: many countries offer export subsidies, which may cover all or part of the costs of professional coaching in a new, international market

Trade missions & events

Since our foundation in 1999, we at psps have organized a number of trade missions each and every year. These have included outgoing and incoming trade missions to and from various countries, both in Europe and elsewhere. Some of the missions focus on specific sectors, while others are multi-sectoral. These ventures are often carried out on behalf of Dutch and foreign government organizations, but also on our own initiative. The goal is always to give participating companies and governments the opportunity to establish new business contacts and find their way in a new market: together – in a group – instead of alone, because that is when doors open that would otherwise remain closed. After more than 100 missions, psps knows exactly what it takes you can open those doors. We have already done this for thousands of businesses. The plans are in place, the CRM system is at our finger tips standing by: we are ready to go!

Why?

Market briefings and workshops

psps is regularly asked to deliver management-style information about international markets to businesses and organizations. We act as a keynote speaker for entrepreneurs in a wide range of countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the United States and Canada. Our talks cover the latest developments, trends and corporate culture, along with a special focus on the question: what are the opportunities for businesses abroad?

Why?

Investment attraction (FDI)

Attracting foreign businesses creates job opportunities. psps helps you do just that. We look at your region through the eyes of businesses and take a smart approach to connect the investment-promotion goals of countries and regional development agencies on the one hand with the needs within companies and sectors on the other.

Why?

Trade shows

psps has organized more than 20 collective trade fair stands in countries like Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. psps offers a variety of support services in this area: negotiating with the trade fair organization abroad, securing a good stand position, utilizing the available space to create an attractive display, arranging staff, generating traffic to the stand and making appointments to meet with leads at the stand. In short: psps takes care of the entire stand set-up from start to finish, handles payment of all parties involved (with no surprises) and ensures that everyone’s needs are met.

Areas of expertise

Trade representation on behalf of (foreign) regions

psps is the dedicated point of contact for various regions. As the representative agency (on behalf of the foreign economic development organization), psps helps businesses enter markets in the Benelux and German-speaking countries. We do this for companies from the United States and Canada, as well as businesses from other countries like Italy and the United Kingdom. Our role goes beyond that of trade departments at consulates and embassies. We believe that the market entry is only truly a success if deals are closed and orders are placed. In serving as a representative agency on behalf of our clients, each year psps supports some 200 foreign businesses in achieving their international ambitions.
