About the mission
From 7 to 9 December 2026, a delegation of innovative German companies from the biotech and laboratory technology sector will visit Belgium. The mission is part of the Market Access Programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and is organised in close cooperation with Flanders Investment & Trade.
The goal is to build lasting bridges between the German and Belgian life sciences communities: to explore partnerships, distribution and R&D cooperation, and to connect with Belgium’s leading research institutions, incubators and companies. At the same time, Belgian organisations get first-hand insights into the German market and how to access it.
The German delegation covers:
- Biotechnology & bioprocessing
- Laboratory equipment & automation
- Diagnostics & analytical technologies
- Lab consumables & research tools
- Digital lab solutions & data/AI for life sciences
