Charting a greener future
Smart & Green Shipping trade mission to China
30th of June - 5th of July 2024
China has shifted its focus in recent years towards the development of green and intelligent water transport. With increasing investments in safer, cleaner, and smarter transportation methods for passengers and cargo, China is opening doors for strategic technological collaborations with international partners. This creates an excellent opportunity for Dutch maritime entrepreneurs to offer their expertise and innovative solutions to a growing market.
Throughout 2022, the Dutch consulate in Shanghai and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) thoroughly investigated the market for sustainable and smart shipping in China. This has resulted in a extenstive market report that provides a deep understanding of the Chinese shipping sector. The report focuses on the latest developments and opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs in the maritime sector, with special attention to smart and sustainable solutions for inland shipping.
